Surf Mexico – Cancellation and Reservation Policies

Introduction

These Website Standard Terms And Conditions (these “Terms” or these “Website Standard Terms And Conditions”) contained herein on this webpage, shall govern your use of this website, including all pages within this website (collectively referred to herein below as this “Website”). These Terms apply in full force and effect to your use of this Website and by using this Website, you expressly accept all terms and conditions contained herein in full. You must not use this Website, if you have any objection to any of these Website Standard Terms And Conditions.

Surf Mexico offers the premier aquatic excursions, as well as Stand Up Paddle and Surf rentals in Bahia de Banderas. In order to accommodate each of our guests, all of our excursions are exclusive, and by reservations-only.

Cancellation Policy

In order to maintain our commitment to all of our guests, Surf Mexico operates a strict cancellation policy:

Refunds:

    • 48 hours – or more prior to reservation 100% refund
    • 24 hours – prior to reservation 50% refund or re book subject to availability
    • Less than 24 hours to reservation, including no shows and late arrivals – no refunds

Return Policy

Any repair or alteration to any part of the boards or equipment without explicit permission of Surf Mexico is penalized, and Surf Mexico will hold on to a 100% of the Damage Deposit.

Changes to your reservation or cancellations can be requested via email to adam@surfmexico.com or by calling us toll free from the US and Canada at 1-800-000-7873 or within Mexico (329) 298 5055. All changes are subject to availability.

Charges to your Credit or Debit Card

Your credit or card will be charged as soon as your order is placed on Surf Mexico’s official site – this is typically reflected in your account within 24 hours. If the date that you choose is unavailable, Surf Mexico will offer an alternative day or time.

Prices and Exchange Rates

Prices are quoted and charged in US dollars.

Waiver (required)

A valid, signed waiver of liability is required to participate in all Surf Mexico excursions and activities, or to rent our equipment.

Each adult will need to provide a waiver for themselves, and one of the parents will need to add any minors’ names at the bottom of their waiver, and sign a second time where indicated. Minors unaccompanied by a parent or guardian will need to bring a waiver, signed and filled out at the bottom, by their parent or legal guardian.

Rental Agreement

Approval of our rental agreement is also required for anyone renting equipment to take elsewhere. (The rental agreement is not required to participate on our guided or self-guided tours.)

Reservation Policies

Reservations are held via credit or debit card. We accept all major credit cards, and payment in full is required at the time of reservation. Each paddler must sign a waiver of liability in order to participate. A parent or legal guardian must sign for all minors under the age of 18.

Although Surf Mexico is not responsible for evaluating a participant’s skill or ability, we reserve the right to refuse rentals to those individuals whose skills do not seem suitable for the selected trip or activity.

Alcohol use is strictly prohibited. We will not transport anyone who brings alcoholic beverages with them to our facility.

Please advise us of any health or medical conditions that could potentially affect your party’s ability to participate on the chosen excursion.

Repairs

Among other services, Surf Mexico is able to take equipment for repair. A check up fee of $500 pesos is required and will be redeemed towards the total amount for the repair job once quoted and accepted by the customer. If the equipment delivered is not properly clean, an additional fee of $500 pesos will be charged in order to thoroughly wash and be able to detect and quote the damage.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, including any legal notices and disclaimers contained on this Website, constitute the entire agreement between Surf Mexico and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings with respect to the same.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nayarit, Mexico. And you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Nayarit for the resolution of any disputes.

Política de Rentas

Para reservar una tabla, nosotros solicitamos un depósito vía paypal (adam@surfmexico.com) de $100 USD por cada tabla que deseas rentar. Dicho depósito de paypal sirve como un depósito contra daños a los productos rentados. El depósito se regresa íntegro vía paypal si el producto es devuelto en las mismas condiciones en que fue rentado. El depósito de rentas también lo puedes hacer online en nuestro sitio web, entra a: https://www.surfmexico.com/product-category/rent/sup-rentals/ y además, puedes reservar vía telefónica al: 01-800-000-surf (7873)

El pago por renta en tablas standar es $40.00 USD por día o $200.00 USD por semana. En el caso de las tablas de fibra de carbón sería de $55.00 USD por día o $260.00 USD por semana. El pago de la renta se debe realizar en el momento en que la tabla es entregada.

Los pagos de renta pueden ser reducidos del costo de venta de una tabla en un plazo no mayor a dos semanas a partir de la fecha de renta.

Política de Cancelación de Rentas

Política de Cancelación para tablas rentadas, lecciones y excursiones con Surf Mexico:

Todos los cambios o cancelaciones deben ser notificadas vía email a info@surfmexico.com. Cualquier otra forma de notificación sin involucrar a Surf Mexico no serán consideradas como cancelaciones.

Devoluciones:

    • Devolución completa de la cantidad de la renta si se cancela 15 horas antes del comienzo de la actividad.
    • Devolución del 50% de la cantidad de la renta si se cancela dentro de las 15 horas anteriores del comienzo de la actividad.
    • No hay devoluciones si el cliente no se presenta a la actividad previamente rentada.
