The week in Orlando Florida was a much needed escape from the intense summer heat of Paddle Surf Mexico’s headquarters in Bucerias Nayarit…. We decided we needed a last minute work/vacation/escape, so we booked a flight, packed up the family, and headed to Surf EXPO/Disney world …for what I think is going to become a yearly tradition!
The new Starboard line up took center stage in Orlando….
New Inflatables were looking great.. among my favorites was the Stream.. Dan Gavere personally walked us thru the his new pro model. Bullet side walls forward fin placement, this beast is ready to charge! and thats what we plan on doing with it on our trip to the waterfalls of Mexico in Huasteca San Luis Potosi!

Another impressive new comer was the Astro Race – 26″ wide, we took them for a stroll on the demo day and were amazed at the top end speed and agility they have for an inflatable! Look out for the Paddle Surf Mexico Race Series in 2014, where the crew will be traveling with a van full of Astro inflatables and rolling out a new “Stock Race” class on Astro Race inflatables..check back for dates and details!
