Get ready for FUN and RACING!!! The Bucerias Classic is back! Get your SUP’s, Windsurfers and Kites ready for a long weekend of mixed format racing, This years action packed event will offer Course racing, Giant Slalom, and a Big AIR for all disciplines of Kite, windsurf and SUP.
This year we will be opening up the race course to all disciplines of racing, FOIL, RACEBOARD, TWINTIP, with 3 entries classes will be judged and ranked.We will also separate by age category as below:
Friday May 2nd
13:00 – Practice race KITE & WIND
16:00 – 19:00 – Registration in Casa Blanca
Saturday May 3rd
9am – 10am – SUP, KiTE & WiND registration
10:30 am – SUP ELITE RACE – age groups under 17, 18 – 35, 36 – 50, 50+
11 am – SUP FUN RACE – age groups under 17, 18 – 35, 36 – 50, 50+
12:00 – SKIPPERS MEETING FOR GIANT DOWNWIND SLALOM – La Cruz Marina – EVA MANDARINA Beach Club – close to launch site for GIANT DOWNWIND SLALOM
13:00 – FIRST POSSIBLE START – GIANT DOWNWIND SLALOM (SUP, WIND, KITE)
15:30 – KiTE and WiNDSURF racing (FOIL, RACE BOARD, TWINTIP, age groups under 17, 18 – 35, 36 – 50, 50+)
16:00 – 20:00 – Reggae Party CASA BLANCA
Sunday May 4th
10am – SUP 10km Distance Race
11:30 am – SUP RELAY RACE
12:00 – PRE RACE MEETING CASA BLANCA – KITE & WIND
13:30 – KITE & WIND RACES
16:30 – GIANT SLALOM DOWNWINDER (wind check SAT) / BEST TRICK (twin-tip SUP wave)
19:30 – Awards Dinner and closing party at EVA MANDARINA beach club in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
