The 17.4 Starboard ACE GT ready for Downwinders at Pacific Paddle…
The latest addition to the fleet at Pacific Paddle in Bucerias, is the 2015 17.4 Starboard ACE GT. A pair of these boards along with several 14 ft and 12’6 All Stars will be used this windy season for “Downwinders” from North Shore beaches to Bucerias, under the watchful guidance of Academy of Surfing Instructors – certified staff from Pacific Paddle in Bucerias.

The bay of Banderas has perfect conditions, as come February, the 10 – 18 knot thermal winds kicks in and the experts at Pacific Paddle will provide you with all the logistic support, van shuttle to the drop off point, skilled certified guides to lead the way, and radio communication on the water, we guarantee you’ll have a blast!!
The Ace GT is a special board, a game changer… a heat seeking missile for the slightest bump in the water, it just wants to surf, its an amazing ride!
The hollowed out standing area lowers your feet to the waterline, providing a little extra stability, and a feeling of direct power to the blade, once its moving, its like a freight train..
Step back turns are a bit of an art, but necessary to get all 17.4 feet turning! Great practice!
